The Villa on the Bay in beautiful Marigot Bay Saint Lucia

Marigot Bay is a historic landmark, having been the site of a number of battles between the French and British. The bay was used as the setting for the 1967 film adaptation of Hugh Lofting’s Doctor Doolittle books. Scenes of the shipwreck, Great Pink Sea Snail, and the construction of the harness for the Giant Lunar Moth were filmed in the bay. The American novelist James A. Michener famously described Marigot Bay as “The most beautiful bay in the Caribbean.”

Located 300 feet above St Lucia’s beautiful Marigot Bay this modern villa has five double bedrooms

Entrance is at the top level into an open plan sitting/living/ dining room and kitchen fitted with a large fridge freezer, gas oven, dishwasher, double sink and microwave.

Sliding doors open onto a side barbecue terrace with fantastic views. Other doors open on to the balcony overlooking the pool terrace and the bay below

The master double suite is also on this level, with fitted wardrobes, A/C, overhead fan and en–suite shower, w.c, w.b. Doors lead from the master onto the balcony with stunning views

A spiral staircase leads to a lobby area below with laundry room, washing machine, dryer and sink, maid’s cloakroom and doors to the garden

Off the lobby area, there are two good sized double bedrooms with A/C, overhead fans and en–suite shower with twin sinks, w.c, w.b. Both have fitted wardrobes.
